Hunstanton Town Hall will be filled to the rafters with crafters

The craft fairs organised by Hunstanton and District Festival of Arts (HDFA) will move back to the newly refurbished Hunstanton Town Hall this month.

HDFA craft fairs at the town hall have become a tradition in Hunstanton but when the ceiling of the building part-collapsed at the beginning of the year, the craft fairs moved to Hunstanton’s community centre as an alternative to cancelling the event,

On Saturday, September 25, the popular event will be back in Sunny Hunny's town hall following early completion of the refurbishments.

More than 20 crafters will be displaying their wares and HDFA members Ann McKimm and Dawn Davies, both keen crafters themselves, are excited to see them return, with other crafters equally keen to return to their favourite venue.

Ann McKimm, organiser said: “Our new exhibitors will experience the excitement of presenting their crafted items to the public in this beautiful and iconic building.”

"All products at these craft fairs are handmade, of high quality and come from the West Norfolk area and proceeds from all booking fees go towards funding future arts events held in and around Hunstanton by the HDFA."

The event will open at 10am and close at 4pm. Entry is free and light refreshments will be on sale. Upcoming dates are: September 25, October 30 and November 27.

A special Christmas Gift Fair will be held at the town hall on Sunday November 28 to coincide with the Christmas Lights switch-on.
