RNLI set to hold its annual sandcastle competition at Old Hunstanton marking 200th anniversary




A lifeboat station is celebrating a milestone birthday with a fun-filled competition.

Hunstanton RNLI is holding a sandcastle competition on Wednesday, August 7 to mark its 200th anniversary.

The event will be taking place on the beach at Old Hunstanton in front of the boathouse and shop with registrations from 1.30pm and will start at 2pm. Entry is £1.50 each.

Everyone is welcome, especially families with children. The competition lasts for about an hour (weather permitting) and is in three age groups.

Prizes will be vouchers for the RNLI shop.

There will be parking available at the Le Strange car park.
