Special Father's Day treats at RSPB Titchwell

The RSPB is encouraging families to celebrate Father’s Day this year by enjoying special time exploring RSPB Titchwell nature reserve and other greenspaces in Norfolk.

Morwenna Alldis, spokesperson for the RSPB, said: “Sunday, June 19 is a chance to say a heartfelt thank you to the supportive dads and father figures in our lives, and hopefully this Father’s Day we can give them a physical hug, too.

"Maybe your dad gives the best pep talks, never fails to make you laugh, cooks the biggest and tastiest Sunday roast, or is still the most reliable taxi service in town (even though you’re all grown up).

"This Father’s Day give him the most precious gift, time spent with his family outdoors in Norfolk's summer sunshine.
"As nature blooms enjoy a wild day out with your dad at RSPB Titchwell Marsh nature reserve. Check in at the café for a steaming cup of delicious coffee and sausage bap or pastie, before heading out to explore the reserve. Stroll along wheelchair friendly paths and enjoy views of landscapes teaming with wildlife. Look out for majestic raptors soaring overhead, swallows and swifts zooming across the marsh and lagoons, hosting breeding avocets and other waders."

"All dad's can enjoy a 20 per cent discount on food and beverage purchased on Father's Day at Titchwell so don't forget to order your cream tea or lunch before you go. Dad's will also have £2 off the price of binocular hire for the day." For more information visit: rspb.org.uk/titchwellmarsh
