Soul and R&B singer Beverley Knight will support pop icon Gary Barlow at Forest Live later this year.
The artist, known for hits including ‘Greatest Day’, ‘Get Up!’, ‘Should Woulda Coulda’ and ‘Come as You Are’, will support the Take That superstar at his gig at Forestry England High Lodge, near Thetford, on Saturday, June 21.
Beverley has been a stalwart of the music industry for 30 years, releasing her debut record, The B-Funk, in 1995.
She has since added eight more albums to her belt and has graced West End stages with performances in The Bodyguard, Cats and Sister Act.
In addition to being awarded an MBE in 2007, Beverley was nominated for Best Female at the BRIT Awards three times and also for Best Album at the Mercury Music Prize.
Last year she won the Outstanding Contribution to Diversity Award at the European Diversity Awards and was honoured at the Ethnicity Awards for her continued efforts in the field.
At his Forest Live gig fans can expect Gary to draw from his time with Take That and his solo days, including Since I Saw You Last, Greatest Day, Rule the World and Never Forget.
Forestry England High Lodge will also host The Script, Rag’n’Bone Man and James this summer.
