Burnham Deepdale hosts spooky outdoor theatrical experience
A daytime theatrical experience suitable for children and an evening show that is better suited to adults is taking place in Burnham Deepdale.
Deepdale Haunted The Wild Ride is being shown from October 22 -31 and will transfix audiences with ghostly West Norfolk tales.
The promenade performance takes place in The Orchard, Dalegate Market in Burnham Deepdale and brings something eerie as the night falls and the full moon appears.
With three main areas the shows can differ depending on the time of day with different actors playing parts, seating is on bales of hay or standing with the actor performing a monologue.
Director Danny O'Hara said: "All the actors and crew are locally based and we hope that this could be the beginning of an annual event and will offer a great half term experience to many people in the area.
"Written by Norfolk based writer, Steve Keyworth this new show is an exciting outside promenade show, based on myths and ghosts of West Norfolk."
Jason Borthwick, landlord of the café and Dalegate Market, and managing director of the next door Deepdale Backpackers and Camping said: "It is something different for our programme of events and we are really pleased it is here after initial talks, now it is happening."
