Hunstanton Festival 3 By the Sea launches its summer art exhibition with artist Shirley Carnt officially opening proceedings

A festival that produces live music, theatre and craft fairs throughout the year is launching its summer art exhibition.

Festival 3 By the Sea, arranged by the Hunstanton and District Festival of Arts (HDFA) will be launching a three day summer art exhibition in Hunstanton.

Doors will be open to the public on Friday from 2pm at the Town Hall.

Christine Earnshaw, chair, HDFA, said: “We are delighted that Shirley Carnt, our special guest, will be there to officially open the exhibition at 6pm with an invited audience that includes the mayor and all the artists.

“Shirley will have two of her paintings on display among a collection of professional, semi-professional and amateur artists who are all local and many will be for sale.

“Also on show will be some ceramic tiles painted by young and old, that will eventually be added to the tile wall on the North Prom in Hunstanton.”

This free event is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday 10am until 4pm and refreshments will be available.
