LEARN MOREA theatre company will be proving that the show must go on when they return to the stage this weekend.
The Swaffham Players will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a cabaret style evening at Swaffham Conservative Club on tonight and tomorrow.
The production is entitled At Last the Fifty Years Old Show as the anniversary has been delayed by the events of the last couple of years.
Nicky Dawkins, secretary of the Swaffham Players said: "It will feature several people who were involved in the society’s productions back in the nineteen seventies including our founder, Brian Hubbard, as well as more recent recruits.
"The evening is a light-hearted mix of songs, sketches, and monologues many of which may be familiar to the audience providing opportunities for them to join in if they wish to do so.
"The programme is being put together by Stuart Travis with Richard Winch as Musical Director who may sing a song or two himself."
Tickets will cost £8 and will be available from the Conservative Club and the Ceres Bookshop in Swaffham.
