Violin classics and hits from stage and screen will feature in a concert by the talented Andrew Hubbard, at King’s Lynn Minster on Saturday, March 21 at 7.30pm.
His spring tour “The Violin Sings” will include Phantom of the Opera, Massenet Meditation, You Raise Me Up, Schindler’s List, Gladiator, Cavatina, Czardas, Titanic and more.
Andrew works closely with stars such as Carey Mulligan, Chris Marshall, Ronni Ancona and Henry Goodman.
While he still performs part-time on The Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End, Andrew has taken a sabbatical from full-time theatre to travel the country working as both performing and independent recording artist.
He says this gives him freedom of expression and, as a highly gregarious person, he loves meeting people.
His down to earth approachable personality has earned him the title The People’s Violinist.
Many of Andrew’s listeners have suggested that he should include The Minster in his concert tour, and so he will be returning to King’s Lynn to perform on Saturday week.
He also has two other Norfolk dates – Norwich St. Stephen’s on March 28 and Great Yarmouth St. George’s Theatre on April 18.
The seating is limited to 200 at King’s Lynn Minster and tickets for this intimate evening are selling quickly so early booking is advised from the Box Office 01553 764864 or online http://www.kingslynncornexchange.co.uk/event/andrew-hubbard-in-concert-715
