Drama students at Downham Market Academy presented their school production of Bugsy Malone in front of packed audiences last week.
Amy Chapman, the drama teacher at DMA, is extremely proud of the students who gave up their time for the production and added: “The students worked incredibly hard, especially Jasmine – who played Bugsy – as she had to step in very last minute.
“We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the show!”
The story tells of the rise of Bugsy Malone and the battle for power between Fat Sam and Dandy Dan.
This gangster musical had a twist in its tale, where instead of firing real bullets, the gangsters used “splurge guns” that covered victims in cream – a crowd pleaser.
