And what a season it is with shows that will suit all tastes, from rock and roll with Rock for Heroes, Saturday, October 1, featuring a full live rock band performing the hits of classic bands such as Queen and The Eagles, at the same time raising funds for Help the Heroes, to being taken on a wild journey with Saba Douglas-Hamilton in her efforts to save the African elephant, Monday, September 19.
She vividly brings to life her fight for nature with moving insights from her life amongst elephants.
Fans of 80s heart throb Marti Pellow will be delighted to see him up close and personal in Pellow Talk, Sunday, November 13 with the star in conversation in an intimate evening, starting from where he began on the banks of the River Clyde and his career highlights, travelling to Broadway and beyond.
Handpicked by Adele herself on the Graham Norton show is the outstanding Katie Marham performing The Adele Songbook, Someone Like You, Saturday, October 15, leading the show with powerhouse vocal performances and intimate acoustic songs in a repertoire of favourite Adele hits, recreating the singer’s four record breaking albums.
With a sold out worldwide tour and 50th anniversary celebration, The Simon and Garfunkel Story, is coming straight from the West End on Saturday, September 24.
A full live band performing hits such as Mrs Robinson will have the audience on their feet, with standing ovations a regular occurrence.
Running for some 35 years, the friendly flea market event, Saturday, September 3 attracts dealers offering a wide range of products from small antiques, jewellery and china. There is something for everyone to hunt amongst the treasures.
The season wouldn’t be complete without a mention of the pantomime, Snow White. Oh no it wouldn’t!
It begins Wednesday, December 7 and runs until December 31, with a signed performance on Wednesday, December 21 at 5.30pm and a relaxed performance showing Wednesday, December 28 at 5.30pm.
Come and be entertained by Dame Dotty (Ian Marr) and Herbie Vore (Scott Cripps).
