The Addams Family A Musical Comedy at Downham Market Town Hall from October 20
As the theme song goes, there’s something spooky, kooky and a little bit ooky heading to Downham next month.
Downham Amateur Dramatics Society (DADS) are delighted to be bringing ‘The Addams Family’ to life at Downham’s Town Hall during October.
Wednesday Addams is all grown up and has fallen in love with a boy from a normal family. However, only Gomez has been told and, sworn to secrecy, he has to do something that he has never done before – keep a secret from his beloved Morticia.
Will he be able to hold that information to himself as the two families meet for the first time over dinner or will the evening end in disaster?!
You will have to join them and Uncle Fester, Pugsley and Lurch to find out if love, family and friendship wins out.
The cast have been incredibly busy rehearsing every Monday and Friday at the Jubilee Youth Centre, learning lines, new songs and dance steps but they are ready to bring you a great night of entertainment.
Performances are from Thursday, October 20 to Sunday, October 23 (Thurs-Sat 7.30pm. Matinee 2.30pm Sat/Sun). Tickets: £10 & concession (over-60s and under-16 years of age) £8.
