King's Lynn three course comedy dinner show Vicar of Dibley style

A three course comedy dinner show, The Vicar of Dibley, featuring actors in role play will be taking place at the Duke’s Head Hotel in Lynn on Friday, March 31.

Taking place in the ballroom Geraldine is hosting a fundraising dinner to raise money for the new church window.

The only trouble is, Alice and Hugo think everyone’s here for their wedding rehearsal.

Not wanting to let down the dim-witted duo, Geraldine plays along, avoiding Owen’s less than tactful advances.

Mrs Cropley is in charge of the cake, Frank’s left in charge of Dibley radio and Jim doesn’t no, no, no what he’s doing.

Will Geraldine be able to raise enough money for the window and keep the villagers happy?

Tickets are £35.00 per person and the menu consists of a starter of roasted red pepper and tomato soup with bread roll.

For the main course on offer there is a choice of sautéed chicken breast with crushed new potatoes, seasonal greens and peas and a white wine and mushroom sauce or a mushroom and red onion chutney roulade, crushed new potatoes, seasonal greens and sherry vinegar syrup.

And for desserts it is a white chocolate and raspberry choux bun.

Dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice by emailing the team at events@dukesheadhotel.com

Fans of the popular hit show The Vicar of Dibley, a sit-com that starred comedian Dawn French will be sure to recognise the familiar favourites from the show.

It was written by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew -Archer and ran from 1994-2007.

With the hilarious characters from the show portrayed by performers it should be an evening that promises fun and lots of laughs.
