The award-winning Bilton Silver Band, conducted by David Stowell, will be presenting a Christmas Concert at St Nicholas’ church in Dersingham on Saturday, December 5, at 7.30pm.

With seasonal music, decorated Christmas trees, mulled wine and mince pies, it will be a traditional festive curtain-raiser.

The band are returning by popular demand for this concert organised by the Friends of St Nicholas’ Church.

He has since appeared with the London Symphony Orchestra, The Philharmonia and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

In the brass band field he has conducted many bands including the Black Dyke Mills Band, the GUS Band, Brighouse & Rastrick and Grimethorpe Colliery.
