Bach and Pachelbel to The Beatles and Ed Sheeran, King's Lynn Music Society recital: Estevão Devides steps in on classical guitar for ill Michael Christian Durrant at town hall

Classical guitarist Estevão Devides will give a performance of classical and popular favourites at King’s Lynn Town Hall on Wednesday, February 15 at 7.30pm for King’s Lynn Music Society.

His programme will showcase his wide repertoire which ranges from the music of Bach and Pachelbel to The Beatles and Ed Sheeran.

Estevão was born in Brazil, where he commenced his guitar studies at the age of nine.

He completed a music degree and has performed widely in Brazil. In 2013 he was selected by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture to be part of a cultural exchange which included concerts at some Norfolk schools.

Due to ill health Michael Christian Durrant is unable to come to Lynn as previously arranged and Devides has kindly agreed to take his place for this event.

Visitors are always welcome, doors open at 7pm for tea/coffee; admission is free for under-18s, full time students and those with Federation of Recorded Music Societies affiliation.
