Three shows for younger audiences are being staged at Lynn Corn Exchange over the coming weeks – and it all starts with The Sooty Show next Wednesday, April 1.

Later in April there will be four performances of The Snail and The Whale, then in June there’s a brand new Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure.

Tickets for all the shows are on sale now at the box office.

Sooty fans old and new are in for a treat next Wednesday with The Sooty Show providing a spectacular mix of magic, music and mess – and guaranteed giggles.

Direct from Citv, Sooty heads into town in a fabulous new show to delight the whole family. Joining the nation’s favourite bear will be Sweep, Soo and Sooty’s TV partner Richard Cadell  who will be attempting to keep Sooty from getting up to mischief!  Boy will he have his hands full!

It’s Sooty’s Birthday party and things aren’t going to plan. Sooty and Sweep get messy baking the birthday cake and will Soo ever decide which dress to wear?

Special party guests include legendary Sooty favourites Butch the bulldog and Ramsbottom the snake.

So join in with all the fun and games at Sooty’s birthday party – and there’s also a chance to meet Richard and Sooty after the show.

There are performances at 11am and 2.30pm, with tickets at £13, £11concs, family (3) at £30 and (4) at £40.

The Snail and The Whale is being staged on Thursday, April 23 at 1.30pm and 4.30pm, and on Friday 24th at 10.30am and 1.30pm.

This production is by Tall Stories (creators of the Gruffalo and Room on the Broom stage shows in collaboration with Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Storytelling, live music and lots of laughs abound in a show for everyone aged four and up. This show is Interactive, moving, fun and captivating,

A tiny snail longs to see the world, so she hitches a lift on the tail of a humpback whale. Together they go on an amazing journey experiencing sharks and penguins, icebergs and volcanoes. But when the whale gets beached, how will the tiny snail save him?

Tall Stories’ adaptation is inspired by the work of Storybook Soldiers, who help British military personnel abroad to record bedtime story CDs for their children back home. The amazing journey of the tiny snail is seen through the eyes of a very adventurous young girl – who’d love to be going round the world with her seafaring father.

Tickets are £11, family (3) £30 (4) £40, groups and schools 10+ at £8.50.

Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure is a brand new children’s stage show from the producers of Peppa Pig Live and will come to the Corn Exchange on Saturday, June 13 (1 and 4pm) and Sunday 14th (10am and 1pm).

In Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure the entire crew of the Octonauts, led by intrepid explorer Captain Barnacles, Lieutenant Kwazii and Medic Peso, embark on an exciting new underwater quest and visit amazing underwater worlds full of adventure, with surprises around every corner. This action-packed interactive show features new music (from BAFTA-award winning composer Mani Svavarsson) and all the Octonauts live on stage for the very first time.
