Huge crowds are expected at Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place on Friday evening and over the weekend for an all-star Festival Too programme.
It kicks off on Friday with Odyssey, of “Native New Yorker” fame, and the headliners on Saturday are The Vamps, with their predominantly female fan base, who have played arena shows across the globe.
Then on “Lazy Sunday” there will be a laid-back family atmosphere with top local groups, music for all tastes, street entertainment and many other attractions. Radio One’s Sophie Little will be hosting the show.
Bridget Nurse, the Festival Too chairman, said: “This line-up spread over the three days must be the best we have ever had in our history.
“It’s certainly been manic since we first announced that The Vamps were coming and I anticipate that the Tuesday Market Place will be packed out. Every other email has been about them.
“There will be a different age group coming along for Odyssey and then our Sunday afternoon programme will be just right for families.”
The entertainment on Friday starts at 7.30pm, on Saturday it’s from 6.30pm and on Sunday from 12 noon as Festival Too celebrates its 31st year of free music in the town.
