Jill and the Beanstalks pantomime in Heacham this week
Christmas may be long gone but it’s still Pantomime season and there’s a production this week in Heacham.
The Pocahontas Players are performing Jill and the Beanstalks this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
It has been written by Players member Sharon Yates, who also co-directs alongside Peter Everingham.
Dame’s costumes and some of the cast outfits have been designed and made by Jan Curtis, alongside Sharon.
Possibly the star of the show will be Marmalade the Cow,designed and made by Jan and Dave Curtis.
The story centres around Jill and her mum Dame Tilly Trott and their efforts to keep their tea room business out of the clutches of Jack’s evil Dad Mr Grabbit and his inept sidekick Scarper.
Performances are Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets from Jan Curtis on 01485 570402 or Jim Race on 01485 571267, stalls at £8 and children under 12 £6, with raised seats £10.
