Oxborough to host open gardens and flower festival
Oxborough will be full bloom this weekend with residents' gardens open to the public and a flower festival in the church.
Opening hours will be from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday and tickets, at £5 each, will be available at the church.
A wide range of delightful gardens will be open, along with the beautiful historic St John's church with its magnificent early 16th-century Bedingfeld terracotta tombs - among the finest examples in the country. The church will be full of flowers.
There will be parking and a children’s playground on the Green.
Refreshments will be available at the village gall, including ploughman's lunches and delicious home-made cakes.
Proceeds from the weekend will go to the church and to the village hall.
