Families and friends are welcome to make their own stories at Holkham this half term with brilliant book-themed trails, creative bookworm crafts, a gripping parkland tales trail and Holkham’s fun woodland play area.

From the archive – Holkham’s archivist Lucy Purvis has unearthed some fascinating stories of people who have lived and worked at Holkham over the years.

Visitors can follow the trail around the exhibition to learn more about these characters.

Make your own bookworm bookmark or design your autobiography book cover.

Holkham Park

Holkham Tales Trail – Pick up a trail from Visitor Reception to visit four iconic landmarks in Holkham Park, learn the story about each and collect a stamp.

Once finished, you can take your completed trail back to Visitor Reception to receive a small treat.

Alternatively burn off some steam in the woodland play area or enjoy a wander around Holkham’s Nature Trail and learn some new facts along the way.
