Downham Market Festival offers week-long entertainment featuring swing orchestra and Sheringham Shantymen




A week-long festival will be starting tomorrow in Downham Market, running until Saturday, June 3.

Festivities begin Sunday with a French café and flag rising before Carnival Day on Monday, featuring Rock Choir, a dog show, Circus Avago, BMX show, Mud Munchers and Legacy Dance.

On Tuesday there will be kids’ entertainment in the Town Hall and on Wednesday night the Sheringham Shantymen.

Thursday features a coffee morning in St Edmund’s church hall.

In the Conservative Club there is afternoon tea, kids’ disco in the Town Hall and in the evening the Downham Swing Orchestra performs.

There is a coffee morning on Friday and a West End Songs concert in the evening.

On Saturday there will be a craft table top sale and evening bingo in the Town Hall.
