West Norfolk art exhibition to showcase local talent
Summer is the showpiece time of the year for West Norfolk artists displaying their work in a Lynn chapel for the public to enjoy, and even vote on.
The West Norfolk Artists Association annual exhibition will start on Saturday, August 24 at St Nicholas' Chapel.
Organisers have moved the dates to include the August bank holiday this year, stating this will make the exhibition "bigger and better than ever."
Running until Monday, September 2, the exhibition will be open from 10.30am until 4.30pm each day.
Then an additional day will take place on Tuesday, September 3 from 10.30am until 1pm, where admission will be free.
The Association exists to encourage all local artists to "go out and show off their talent."
Some artists in the association are just starting out, perhaps even entering their first exhibition.
The Peoples Choice Award enables visitors to choose their favourite piece and "helps the artists to keep in touch with local opinion."
The Syd Davidson award and the Inga Miller award also allows talent to be recognised.
Featuring paintings, photographs, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and more, the exhibition accommodates for all tastes.
