EXHIBITIONS

LYNN: Groundwork Gallery, Purfleet Street:

Saturday until December 17, Wednesdays to Saturdays 11am-4pm, new exhibition Deep Water, eight women artists reflect on seawater pollution, dangers to wildlife and the ocean environment.

Custom House:

Daily to November 5, 10am-4pm, new exhibition Monster Mash, by Sarah Cousins, free.

Town Hall: Stories of Lynn:

Open daily from Monday, 10am to 4.30pm, £3.95 adult, £2.95 concessions, £1.95 child, £9.80 family ticket, inter-active exhibitions outlining the fascinating history of Lynn.

True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum:

Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am-3.30pm, new exhibition Town and Maritime, now open, tea rooms, other displays.

Lynn Museum, Market Street:

Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am-4.30pm, Sundays noon-4pm, Thursday, 2-5pm, new exhibition JMW Turner – rivers, estuaries and the sea, includes work by other artists influenced by Turner; also Hoards - Archaeological Finds in West Norfolk, new exhibition.

DOWNHAM: Discover Downham:

Thursdays and Fridays 10am-4pm, Saturdays 10am-1pm, new Downham schools exhibition until December, The Best Years of Your Life, photographs, memorabilia, artefacts.

HUNSTANTON: Town Hall:

Artworks @the Town Hall, The Old Tourist Information Centre, Hunstanton. Open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, 10am-5pm, Sundays 10am-4pm. Free entry. A selection of affordable and local Norfolk artists and artisan works. Limited free parking outside.

WEST ACRE: West Acre Gallery:

Tuesday to November 7, 11am-4pm, Far Horizons, exhibition by Paula Hallam.
