Win family ticket to see Sleeping Beauty in King's Lynn
Pantomime season is nearly upon us – oh, yes, it is! – and we here at the Lynn News have a fantastic competition for readers to win tickets to the Alive Lynn Corn Exchange for Sleeping Beauty.
The show starts on Friday, December 7, and continues through to New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31.
The Lynn News has two family tickets up for grabs. These consist of seats for two adults and two children and are worth £82 each.
The tickets are for the 5.30pm performance on Friday, December 28.
The show stars Victoria Bush, Ian Marr, Scott Cripps, Charles Dennett, Paul Bentley, Isobel Bates and Olivia Arnold.
Victoria, born and bred in Lynn, appears as the evil Carabosse. She is known to millions as school secretary Sonya Donnegan in BBC 1’s Waterloo Road and also Tina O’Kane in ITV’s Bad Girls.
This will be Victoria’s first outing as a panto baddie, having played fabulous fairies in the past. With no invitation to Princess Belle’s christening, she will take her revenge in style – and it will be down to the dashing Prince Valiant and the comedy capers of Dame Nellie Night Nurse and Chester the Jester to save the day!
Making a welcome return to the Corn Exchange is Lynn’s favourite Dame, Ian Marr. This is Ian’s 17th Christmas in panto – no less than eight of them in Lynn.
All you have to do for a chance to win is answer this simple question. What character does Victoria Bush play in Sleeping Beauty?
To enter send your answer on a postcard or sealed envelope to Sleeping Beauty Competition, Lynn News, 17 Tuesday Market Place, King’s Lynn PE30 1JN or email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Sleeping Beauty competition’ in the subject box.
