Have your say

There’s nothing to beat stand-up comedy as the ever-popular Comedy Club nights at Lynn’s Corn Exchange have proved over the years.

With four comedians from the touring circuit to entertain you, in a relaxed cabaret setting, a fun-packed night is guaranteed.

Nothing beats the buzz of a live show and the comedians being lined up for the next show on Thursday, July 28, will do their best to make you laugh out loud.

In today’s competition, we have linked-up with Lynn Corn Exchange and there are five pairs of tickets up for grabs for this show – which is for 18s and over only.

The line-up is still being formalised, but the Comedy Club circuit is known for giving up-and-coming comedians their chance to shine. In the past, Lynn audiences have been entertained by the likes of Jimmy Carr and Sarah Millican before they became household names. Jimmy’s stand-up tours have now sold out throughout the UK and overseas, while Sarah has had six nominations for British Comedy Awards who crowned her The People’s Choice: Queen of Comedy in 2011.

So in the next show, you could be seeing a comedy star of the future in the making. And for your chance to win a pair of tickets, just answer the following question:

In what year was Sarah Millican crowned The People’s Choice, Queen of Comedy?

Put your answer on a postcard or the back of a stuck-down envelope and send to: Comedy Club, Lynn News, Limes House, Purfleet Street, King’s Lynn PE30 1HL. The closing date for entries is next Tuesday, July 19. You can also email your entry to and please type in “Comedy Club competition” in the subject box.

There are five pairs of tickets on offer in this competition and the prizes are as described and cannot be exchange for any other Corn Exchange show or for cash.
