Win tickets to soul feelgood weekend at Hunstanton
Soul and dance music fans from across the country will be descending on the area to enjoy a bumper feelgood weekend.
The Soul Family Affair 2019 Weekender will be bringing a host of classic anthems and floor-fillers to the Searles Leisure Resort in Hunstanton on March 1, 2 and 3 – and you could enjoy the whole event free of charge!
We’ve teamed up with the organisers – The Party and Zero Radio Events – to offer two pairs of weekend passes worth £156 as prizes in our exclusive competition.
Our lucky winners will get free access to what will be a weekend of delight for lovers of soul, dance and jazz funk anthems, topped off with a touch of Motown, Northern and reggae, too!
The Soul Family Affair (SFA) weekends – and the equally popular Sunny Hunny soul spectaculars – are the brainchild of local DJ promoter Jamie Trundle, well-known for his long-running DJ residency at the Jenyns Arms at Denver Sluice.
Over the last seven years SFA has played host to the UK’s best-loved soul and dance DJs – including Ian Reading, a well-known face who was the driving force behind Essex nightclub Zero 6, Radio One’s Jeff Young, Greg Edwards of Capital radio and Martin Collins, of Smooth radio.
This year is no exception – with more than 12 DJs, including Ian Reading, the award-winning Colin Hudd, plus Lynn’s Mark Purdy and Jamie Trundle and the added bonus of a Saturday afternoon showcase session featuring Norfolk-based multi-platinum selling soul singer Kenny Thomas, London R&B/soul artist Georgie B and European soul singing sensation Deborah Bell.
Weekend and day passes can be purchased from www.soulfamilyaffair.co.uk
To stand a chance of winning our prize tickets to the SFA 2019 Weekender all you have to do is answer this question – where did Jamie Trundle have his long-running DJ residency?
