Nar Valley Fisheries complex near King's Lynn excels in carp
This week has seen a lot of nice fish caught from the Nar Valley Fisheries complex near Lynn.
This season’s first 40 pound-plus fish from Lake Geneva fell to regular member Ash Payne (below).
He picked up a lovely mirror carp of 40lb 2oz from the margins to claim this fish as his personal best.
There were a number of 30lb-plus carp up to 37lb, including another personal best mirror carp for new member Tommy Horn (below), who landed his first carp of the season, weighing in at 32lb 8oz.
Quality bream and tench have also been regular visitors to the bank.
The Fenn Lake fish decided to spawn early in the week but sport picked up at the weekend when they finished and came on the feed with carp to 25lb and ‘cats’ to 32lb.
