RAF Air Cadets enjoyed a day at Sandringham Flower Show

A great day was had at the annual Sandringham Flower Show by the team from 42F Squadron of the RAF Air Cadets.

Cadets, staff and civilian committee members came together on a sunny day last week to ensure the squadron’s recruiting and fundraising stall could cope with the vast amount of people attending the show.

It was a busy day, with 42F’s stand almost continuously surrounded with interested visitors, many having themselves been Air Cadets in past years on squadrons in different parts of the country.

A small team of cadets also assisted at the Sandringham Royal Warrant Holders Association hospitality marquee.

With no members of the Royal Family attending the show this year, the cadets could enjoy more free time - and a few were able to take to the air, albeit not to a great altitude.
