Students of a Lynn secondary school have raised hundreds of pounds for a prominent brain tumour research charity.

Mervyn Wiles, a trustee of the Red Wellies charity set up in memory of his daughter Lisa, received a donation of £809 when he visited the King's Lynn Academy last Friday.

The money was raised during a series of events held by year 11 students at the school.
