Fundraising in West Norfolk for good causes between the years 2004 and 2007.
2004: A Christmas draw at R and M Hurt newsagent and convenience store in Marsh Lane, Gaywood, raised £560 for the nearby Tom Thumb Playgroup based at the Ald Jackson Special School.

2007: Friends at Lynn Workers' Club presented £350 to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in memory of their longest-serving member.
The cash was raised at a quiz in memory of 93-year-old Jimmy McEvoy, who died in November 2006.
The money went to the Terrington Ward equipment fund and from left are club chairman Patrick Haughey, Dave Robson, a close friend of Jimmy, and ward sister Annette Powell.
2007: As the cheque shows, staff and customers at the House on the Green pub in North Wootton raised a total of £2,556 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation UK which helped children with life-threatening illnesses fulfil their dreams.

2007: These shoes were made for walking, with Bridget Wells, of Gaywood, breaking in her trainers in preparation for a 26-mile walk from Lynn to Snettisham and back, raising money in aid of a friend with multiple sclerosis and the MS Society.
2004: Coastal line-dancers continued to raise cash for Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital's 'Save A Life Cancer Fund' – and another £500 cheque took the grand total to £6,000 in four years. Yvonne's classes were held at Heacham, Dersingham and Hunstanton and she is pictured right (with granddaughter Jasmine Eastwood, centre) presenting the cheque to Pat Watts from the QEH breast care unit.
2004: After Lynn's Hospital Radio put out an appeal for a carpet cleaner, the Hughes TV and audio shop in the town centre came to the rescue with a new £200 Dyson vacuum cleaner. 2004: Coffee mornings organised by members of St James' and Gaywood Park Old Girls' Association raised £350 for the Alderman Jackson Special School in Gaywood.

2007: Dauntless Hunstanton pensioner David Foulkes, complete with metal helmet and 1940s military clothing, cycled 45 miles from the resort to Norwich raising funds for the Norfolk Royal British Legion welfare fund.
