Heacham Parish Library receives a grant that contributes to display projects for local communities
A volunteer-run local library has been awarded a grant in support of a display project.
Heacham Parish Library has been awarded a government grant in support of a local display project which helped to support local community groups to exhibit their work such as Heacham’s heritage or a current leisure project.
The grant has enabled the library to buy essential items such as new display boards and an A3 laminator and printer, which will help the library widen its overall appeal to the community.
One volunteer from the library, Margaret Gilbert, said: “Previous displays have sparked a lot of interest from both residents and visitors, which prompts conversations and a deeper appreciation of our lovely village.”
All displays are free to view at Heacham Parish Library during their normal opening hours, their current display is showing Heacham and Horses.
