King’s Lynn Town FC set for first pre-season friendly of 2019/20 at Stamford
King’s Lynn Town FC play their first pre-season friendly of the 2019/20 campaign tomorrow (Saturday) with a trip to near-neighbours Stamford, kick-off 3pm at The Zeeco Stadium.
Manager Ian Culverhouse is expected to use all of his available squad at the Step Four outfit with the likes of Sam Kelly, Nathan Fox and Sonny Carey expected to be in a Linnets shirt for the first time.
Lynn then on Tuesday head to Bury Town.
Although the first team have yet to begin, on Tuesday Lynn Reserves had their first friendly of the summer and lost 7-1 at Thetford Town.
Joe Taylor actually took the lead for Lynn, but they found themselves 4-1 down at the break.
Neil Fryatt’s reserves team tomorrow visit the North Norfolk coast to play Wells Town in their second warm-up fixture.
In the Thurlow Nunn League Cup, the Reserves have been drawn at home to Thetford Town, to be played on September 25.
The winners host Haverhill Borough.
In the TNL Division One League Cup the reserves have been drawn away to March Town, the game to be played on October 8.
