Only a handful appearing on river banks while odd jacks and small silvers have shown on the Middle Level at Pingles and perch from Cut Off Channel





Springside: Carp to 8lb have shown on the method feeder to some of the baits being offered, silvers have been the more dominant feeders, roach and rudd have shown on the pole and waggler when offering maggot, caster and bread punch. Perch to 12oz close in when presenting small pieces of worm.

Bear Lake: Odd small carp, to 3lb, have shown on the method feeder, roach to 10oz have been continually feeding to bread punch, pinkie and maggot on the whip and waggler.

Shepherd’s Lake: Bream to 5lb have shown on the conventional feeder tactics when presenting maggot on the hook, carp to 7lb have shown to scaled down feeder tactics, odd chub to 3lb have responded to baits being offered.

Roach, rudd and skimmers have come to the shorter lines when using a whip, pole at 8m, and a waggler at three rod lengths when offering maggot, pinkie, caster and bread punch.

KLAA have reduced river books to £25 and silver books to £30 for the remainder of the season.
