Banger Racing returns to Adrian Flux Arena this Sunday following a six-week gap

Banger Racing returns to the Adrian Flux Arena this Sunday (1pm) following a six-week gap.

The Lynn motorsport venue will be hosting the first of the traditional out of season meetings where the annual Nutcracker meeting takes place featuring Unlimited Bangers, 1500cc Bangers and Junior Bangers.

Both National Banger classes have a big night of racing with the Nutcracker Final for the Unlimited Bangers and National Championship for the 1500cc Bangers heading the bill.

A number of local drivers will have a very busy night as they race in both the Unlimited Banger Nutcracker and the 1500cc Banger National Championship, with Lynn father and son duo Russell and Callum Gill together with the Predators pairing of Kieran Bowman and Ashlun Woods who are also doing this.

Callum Gill will be short odds to take either of the titles which he is competing in, with a double not out of the question.

Gill is currently in great form and he will arrive on Sunday having taken the 25 & Under Championship of GB the last time he raced at King’s Lynn.

Last weekend the youngster was down on the south coast at Ringwood in Hampshire where the 400-mile round trip was rewarded with a final win.

All four drivers have also qualified for the 1500cc Banger National Championship and they will be joined on the grid by Shaun Clarke, Ashley Garrod and Robert Betts, whilst Joel Allan will be looking to join them through the last chance race.

Harry Cobb will be looking to continue his recent form in the Junior Bangers which has seen him take a victory over at Mildenhall.
