Strictly Come Dancing fans will like modern jive at Tilney St Lawrence and Stow Bridge village halls

This series of Strictly Come Dancing is now half-way through, and for the first time in three years, the possibility of social partner dancing is back and you may want to know where you too could start learning.

A much easier partner dance to learn, rarely mentioned in the media, is a “Modern Jive”, a versatile dance style which is broken down into small steps for ease of learning.

There are two local clubs, “Jive Survivors” run classes on Sunday evenings at Tilney St Lawrence village hall and “West Norfolk Jive” on Wednesday evenings at Stow Bridge village hall, both between 7.15 and 10pm.
