The cat was last seen on Thursday last week at about 9am, in the vicinity of Tennyson Avenue.

Its owner said: "He's a semi-long haired ginger tom cat with a sun-bleached mark under his tail."

She said he is micro-chipped and not wearing a collar.

"He is nervous of people he doesn't know, and he is on medication for a chronic condition, which is a bit concerning as well.

"He is due to go back to the vets next week."
