Police want help to identify man after dog bit cyclist on Common Lane in Gayton Thorpe





A cyclist was left needing hospital treatment after being bitten by a dog in Gayton Thorpe last month.

Police are appealing for help to identify the man who was walking the dog during the incident, which happened Common Lane on Saturday, December 23 at around 12.30pm.

Officers said the male cyclist was bitten by the dog, causing puncture wounds to his skin which required hospital treatment.

They have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
