Influential Linnets midfielder Cameron joins Halifax on two-year deal





King's Lynn Football Club have lost key player Cameron King who has joined FC Halifax Town on a two-year deal.

The former Scotland Under-21 midfielder, who scored a memorable goal in last season's play-off semi-final, was a target for retention by new Linnets manager Simon Clark.

The 22-year-old was a youth player at Norwich City and made one substitute appearance in the EFL Cup for the Carrow Road outfit in September 2014.

Shortly afterwards he scored on his debut for Scotland's U21 side versus Switzerland in a 1-1 draw .

He departed the Canaries in 2016 and joined Lynn last season.

Halifax boss Jamie Fullarton told his club's website: "Whilst Cameron maybe is an unknown quantity to most of our fans, he isn't to me and I am sure we will see during the coming months why we are delighted to have secured him for the next two years."
