Sandringham Royal Estate hosts car pageant showing classic vehicles, live music and Hurricane fly-past
A pageant showcasing seven decades of motoring, live music and aerial displays is taking place on Sunday.
This year’s event has an expected attendance of some 15,000 and also on offer will be a craft and vintage fair and stalls with culinary delights.
It is all happening in the parkland of the Royal Sandringham Estate from 10am until 5pm.
There will be fabulous musical acts performing throughout the day including The Highlights and Starlight Sisters.
Groups will perform vintage style songs and band Bye Bye Baby celebrates the music of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons
The Hurricane flypast is taking place at 1.10pm featuring planes that played a vital role in the second world war with a Battle of Britain memorial flight display set to wow the crowds.
A vintage market with a variety of stands will exhibit car parts, autojumble, memorabilia, period clothing, vintage accessories, art and offer a restoration service.
Owners of classic vehicles will be showing off their pride and joy in the Pole Position parking area set aside for classic, vintage, hot rods, street cars, rare single seaters and sports cars, commercials, tractors and motorcycles.
Royal vehicles will be on display featuring the King’s 1968 motor car and an American Style 1955 racing car plus two toy cars gifted to him when he was a child.
Aston Martin will showcase a variety of classic vehicles at the pageant for car lovers to enjoy viewing.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic, park up, relax and enjoy everything the day has to offer as thousands of classic motor vehicles line up for this special event.
